At Chess Quest Academy, our coaching team combines strong competitive chess experience with a genuine passion for teaching and developing young players. Our coaches bring valuable experience from state, national and international tournaments, along with a deep understanding of the skills and discipline required to improve at chess.
With different playing backgrounds and areas of expertise, our coaches work with students across a wide range of ages and playing levels. Whether a student is learning the fundamentals, working towards a higher rating, or preparing for competitive tournaments, our coaches provide structured guidance, practical training and personalised support.
We believe that a good chess coach does more than teach moves and strategies. Our coaches encourage students to think independently, learn from their games, build confidence and develop the patience, concentration and decision-making skills that chess demands.

FIDE Master with a peak international rating of 2327 and holder of 4 International Master norms. An experienced tournament player and chess coach with a strong record of competitive achievements at State and National levels.
Supriya Joshi
Women Candidate Master with strong performances at State, National and International tournament. Under 15 Maharashtra State Champion and 3rd at the World School Chess Championship, Singapore.
